The picture on the left was presented to us with torn edges, creases and scratches. Its monochromic contrasts had also faded leaving the subjects pale and lifeless. Our restoration on the right involved removing all the defects and enhancing the subjects in relation to their background. Finally our clients instructed a sepia finish to characterise its era.
